Fees

How we charge for advice

Most engagements use a fixed fee agreed before work starts. Mortgage cases may involve lender procuration fees — we explain the mix in writing before you proceed. Prices below are guidance for UK financial advice and consulting; complex cases may sit higher.

Engagement Basis From
Financial Planning Consultation Fixed fee for the consultation and written plan £650
Retirement Income Planning Fixed fee £850
Pension Transfer Review Fixed fee; higher for complex schemes From £1,200
Inheritance & Estate Planning Advice Fixed fee £750
Mortgage & Protection Advice Fee and/or lender procuration fee — explained before you proceed From £400 advice fee

What influences the fee

  • Number of pension schemes and whether safeguarded benefits are involved
  • Whether a written suitability report must meet transfer advice standards
  • Joint meetings with solicitors or accountants
  • Travel for home visits outside the immediate Parker-on-Bednar area

What we do not do

We do not offer monthly software-style subscriptions, “Starter / Professional / Enterprise” packages, or percentage trail fees disguised as planning. Ongoing reviews, if requested, are scoped as separate annual engagements with their own fee letter.

Payment is for advice time and documentation. Product providers may pay commission on some protection or mortgage cases; any such payment is disclosed and offset against agreed fees where applicable.
